Dear friend,
Last Sunday, May 23, marked the first anniversary of the passing of a truly fine woman. Over the past year, her husband has been telling me all about her remarkable personality and the gifts that she shared with everyone, and, most especially, her love for God. I’d like to tell you all about her! - maybe someday I will. However, for now, I feel that what she said about her contracting Multiple System Atrophy, a fatal, rare disease, sums it all up: Naturally, she asked, "why me?" Then she answered herself, "why not me?"
