I'm absolutely thrilled!

I found a Rubik's Wire! It's the little-known, very rare, puzzle game created by Ernö Rubik, shortly after the release in 1980 of his mega-hit, the Rubik's Cube, which has sold nearly 500 million units, and counting. In contrast, there were only about 425 "Wire" units sold before the toy was quickly removed from the shelves, in 1982. Apparently, it was a big embarrassment for the Ideal Toy Company, the licensed manufacturer of both toys.
Value? If this marvelous toy was in it's original box, which has detailed instructions on how to use it for "hours of fun," it could fetch a few grand at auction. Even without the box, and since it appears that it hasn't been played with at all (excellent condition), it approaches $500. I found it at a garage sale and paid a quarter for it. My lucky day!
BTW - an even rarer find (it's actually said that there are no more in existence) is the Rubik's Ice Cube. But... maybe an original package is out there somewhere, clearly stating that the cube must be kept frozen. Keep your eyes peeled!
