about Time

An entry in the ancient diary of Babke Babka; SAGE (second class). Translated from Aramaic:

A neophyte came to me. "Wiseman," he said. "Please tell me, does time stand still at night? For I have studied the sundial in the village square - whenever the sun goes down, one cannot tell the time."

I contemplated the young man (Michael, by name). His countenance revealed great wonder. His power of observation impressed me, mightily.

"Yes, grasshopper, time does stand still at night. It waits patiently for the return of the sun."

He went away happy.
